Strengthening Your Car With Sub-Frame Connectors

First set the car up off the ground and level as well. The sub frame connectors are made out of 2-inch tube and steel plate. A single inner guard mounting plate joins the steering gear and engine cross member together (D). Then the tube from that point goes to a double-sided mount to the spare cross member mounting points near the gearbox cross member (C). From there, the tube goes on to the front spring eye at the rear suspension (B), (a single strap) and then up to where the original rear lever action shocks mounted (A) (a double-sided strap). This involves a lot of work but no floor cutting is needed and you'll never have to adjust a door again because it tightens things up that much!
