Hidden
fuse box for our cars.
By Pat
Merrigan.
For cars that have had an alternator swap.
Pat Merrigan has come up with this novel idea for a
disused Regulator box after the installation of an internal regulator
alternator (article on site). Mklll cars by design have very little in the way
of fuses so this idea suits them very well. The use of a MAXI type fuse of
60-80amp could also be suitable depending on what extras the car has fitted. If
you blow the first fuse too easy, go up a size. Once the best size is found
stay with it. Later if fuses start blowing after months of no problems, do
check for a fault, do NOT install higher rated fuses, clear the fault instead.
